Suzy Gershman fell in love with Paris many years ago. As her visits became more frequent while scouting shops, boutiques and unique experiences for her now famous guide, “Born to Shop Paris” the plan to live in this fabulous city became a reality . She is now a full time resident of France and wants to meet you and share all of her “secrets” to the best and most stylish places to find cosmetics, fashion and antiques. Suzy will be with us for several days during an unforgettable week filled with exciting and new experiences around every corner.


May 17 Depart your home city for Paris. Most flights will depart in the early eveningwith an morning arrival at Paris, Charles de Gaulle. We can assist you with travel arrangements.
May 18

Arrival in Paris this morning. You will be met upon arrival and taken to our delightful four-star boutique hotel on the Left Bank. Enjoy a welcome lunch at Mariage Freres, just a short stroll from our hotel. This afternoon a most extraordinary experience awaits; a private historical walking tour of Place Dauphine and the Saint-Germain l’Auxerrois and Halles Quarters; followed by a visit to the atelier of a well known copy artist. Meet Jane and learn of her technique and experiences of living in Paris.
An informal tea will be served. Tonight an optional concert at St. Chapelle followed by a bistro dinner. L/R

May 19

Friday is fashion day in Paris. Begin with a discussion by Suzy on her secrets to French chic, best places to shop, designers outlets and vintage surprises. We will attend the fashion show at Galeries Lafayette with your new eye for style. Each of you will have a generous shopping savings and a full afternoon to shop until you drop. Late in the afternoon we will meet Suzy for cocktails and share our success and best buys. Tonight we can visit Café Laurent for an aperitif along with Le Jazz Hot. B/T

May 20

Today you will have a full day to explore Paris at your own pace. You may choose to visit one of the museums, explore the fabric markets near Monmartre, take a day trip to Giverny, Fountainbleu, Versailles, or relax in a sidewalk café. A Paris Dream Day will be designed before your departure, make plans to indulge your fantasies. Perhaps pamper yourself at a famous Paris day spa or Hamman. B

May 21

Sunday in the parks and the flea markets. Suzy will join for a visit to her favorite, Puces de Vanves. Suzy will share with you her skills in looking for value and how to negotiate the best prices. There is a great market close by and we will shop for our picnic lunch complete with wine. The rest of the day you can indulge yourself in seeing the sites, shopping or writing in your journal. Dinner is on your own this evening. B/L

May 22

After a lovely French breakfast we will meet Suzy for “Beauty Day”. Today learn about cosmetics, skin care, perfume, hairstyles and much more. She will have gifts for everyone along with her “secret” sources for the very best products, best prices and “only in Paris” surprises. Later in the day we will meet Suzy for afternoon tea at a famous tea salon to talk about your day, your successes and answer questions. Evening will be on your own to experience one of the many bistros and cafes in the neighborhood. Perhaps take a cruise on the River Seine after sundown. B/T

May 23

Today we will travel to the famous Angelina’s for drinking chocolate before embarking on a “Chocolate Walk” sampling several of the famous French Chocolatiers along the way. Explore several of the gourmet emporiums near the Place de la Concorde, Madeline and Place Vendome. Today you may want to shop the “depot vente”, designer resale shops for the perfect accessory for our “little black dress” dinner tonight. B/T/D

May 24

After breakfast it is time to leave for the return journey to your home.Shared van transfers will be available along with private taxi’s. B
